Explains how to add Chinese language support
Input Method Editor (IME) Most modern input methods are 'intelligent' which means that they got the ability to learn and also offer predictive text. It is also possible to add words to the dictionary file (.dic). When switchen computer (but not operating system) one can copy those .dic files to the same location on the other computer.
IME's can be part of the operating system, a stand alone program or part of a Front End Processor (FEP)

Microsoft Office

Microsoft Office uses the the windows OS capabilities however Microsoft has developed IME's for MS Office.
